This data protection notice informs you about how Dr Hartmut Frenzel processes data as the controller

We process personal datawhen you contact us by letter, fax, e-mail or telephone, when you visit our website and use services there, when you request information material, when you register for an event or when you subscribe to a newsletter, when you apply for a job with us or submit an offer.

We process this data, to communicate with you, arrange appointments, send you newsletters, process your application or your offer.

DATA PROCESSING WHEN ACCESSING THE WEBSITE

When visiting our Website our web server receives some data that is either transmitted by your web browser or results from the connection context. In the following, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which we store and analyse this data. As our website is only accessible via https, this data is encrypted during transport using TLS. This does not apply to a first-time page view via http, as in this case a redirection to the corresponding URL takes place via https.

In order to prevent misuse of our services, ward off attempted attacks and analyse technical problems, a log of all connection requests is created and stored for a period of seven days. After this period, the log files are automatically deleted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the proper operation of our website. This log of all connection requests contains the following information:

  • the name of the requested file as well as the time and status of the request and the amount of data transferred
  • the page from which the file was requested (so-called referrer)
  • the computer's operating system and the name and version of the browser used
  • the IP address of the requesting computer.

    DATA PROCESSING FOR CONTACT PURPOSES

    If you use e-mail communicate with us, data must be collected. This is usually the sender's email address and IP address as well as the content of the email and any attachments that may contain personal data.

    This data is processed to the extent necessary on the basis of our legitimate interest in processing communication with you and insofar as this does not conflict with your interests. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

    DATA PROCESSING FOR ONLINE APPOINTMENTS

    We use the Opentalk platform for our online meetings. In order to participate in a conversation, it is usually necessary to provide your first and last name, an email address and an organisation. This data is collected for the purpose of technical and organisational processing and evaluation of participation.

    The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter b) GDPR to the extent necessary to enable you to participate in the online conversation.

    NEWSLETTER

    If you are interested in one or more Newsletter the data processing is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1a) GDPR.

    ORDER PROCESSING

    We have commissioned companies that process personal data on our behalf to operate the web and mail servers, to provide the address database, to send newsletters and information material, to organise webinars and for accounting. With these companies we have concluded Order processing contracts We have agreed that your data will be processed and stored securely on our behalf and in accordance with the legal requirements.

    DATA PROCESSING WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE LINKEDIN ACCOUNT

    We do not use any plug-ins from social media providers on our website.
